【老闆不會生氣嗎？】
班上聊喜歡玩什麼，有人說：

我一聽，反應是「欸，老闆不會生氣嗎？」
其實，學生的意思應該是，「我喜歡去百貨公司看電影，因為那邊有冷氣。」
★ 關鍵是，要說百貨公司，一定要說兩個字 department store! 一個字 department 就不夠！
所以：
√ I like to watch movies in the department store, because of the air conditioning.
其實，我們「例錯」的文法正確，而且它也有個意思。
Department 一個字就是「部門」的意思。
所以如果說 I like to watch movies in the department, 這就表示你喜歡待在辦公室裡（就是你的部門）看電影。真的這樣做，我想你的同事與老闆應該會不高興吧！
